Horses for Sale

We picked the name 'Durham Versatility Horses' for a reason. We ensure that every horse we sell is versatile. While some horses may excel in the show ring while others excel as a Law Enforcement Mounted Unit horse or just a trail rider, we believe that all horses should have enough basic skills that they could be taken into just about any discipline at any time and at least be able to function. If your horse is calm and confident, trusts you and understands how to respond to the basic cues such as rein and different types of leg pressure, you and your horse can accomplish just about anything! This is the type of horse you will find for sale below.

We accept Venmo, Paypal or cash. We encourage you to come out and see/ride any of these horses. Vet checks are welcome at the buyer's expense. We will absolutely never ever drug a horse to take pictures or to show to a customer.

Silo

2020 Buckskin Roan Gelding
Silo is a looker!  He's got a gorgeous buckskin roan coat that shines like a bar of gold in the sunlight!  You're sure to be noticed on the trail, on the ranch or in the showpen with this guy!
Grant started Silo in groundwork at the beginning of the summer of 2022 and rode him pretty extensively early in his 3 yo year. including being leased out to a 14 year-old girl as well as being ridden on the pre-ride by the Pikes Peak Range Riders.  For the last few months, he's been on the back burner because Grant has too many outside horses in training and has been busy building the indoor arena.  But he's excited to get Silo back into full time training and see where this cool little horse can go.  He's very naturally collected and he's really beginning to get off leg pressure, indirect rein and is learning his leads.  We've also been working on turnarounds, stops and cow turns.  Price will go up as training continues.
